A low, deep, corner turntable, stocked with small jars and bottles means stooping down to scour through and retrieve contents. It also means that many ingredients will be forever lost in an inaccessible middle. The darkness of a deep, low cupboard makes the situation worse.
Low turntables are best used to organize bulkier items such as frying pans - items that you don't rifle through regularly, and that aren't so easily lost.
Storing smaller bottles, jars, and cans at shoulder height allows you to much more easily establish what's already in stock for the week’s meal planning.
